The Urban Health Institute at Harlem Hospital Center is one of eleven
Medical Treatment Effectiveness Program (MEDTEP) research centers across
the country to receive a grant from the Agency for Health Care Policy and
Research (AHCPR) to improve the effectiveness of health care services
provided to minority populations.
The Urban Health Institute is based at Harlem Hospital Center in New York
City, and represents a collaborative effort with the Columbia
University College of Physicians and Surgeons, the School of Public
Health, and the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.
